Course Maps

The Ultimate 1/4 Triathlon offers a thrilling, "quarter-iron" distance challenge, beginning with a 0.6 mile swim in the calm, freshwater Mere. Athletes will be immersed in an exhilarating open-water experience, with spectators cheering from the shore.

Next, the 28 mile bike ride takes participants on a scenic yet demanding journey through the picturesque Shropshire countryside and parts of Wales. Smooth tarmac roads and breathtaking views make this segment both fast and beautiful.

Finally, the run offers a flat, fully tarmac course. With closed roads and cheering supporters, you'll push to the finish line, driven by the thrill of victory.

Dean T

Ultimate Quarter Triathlon - 2022

Great atmosphere as usual, registration easy and helpful, marshals and staff always with a smile and a word of encouragment, also changed my event twice due to injury. Top guys, more flexible than some of the other event organisers. Would thoroughly recommend and will be back again.

Ultimate Quarter Triathlon - 2024

This was a very well-organized event. Registration was seamless, and the other facilities were great. The lake swim was very pleasant. The bike course was fast and easy to navigate, with marshals at all junctions and good signage for the different races using the same roads. The out-and-back run was nice on a closed country lane, a little undulating but nothing too sharp that would sap the momentum from your tiring legs
